The Story
A proud partnership between Lanna Coffee, Doi Inthanon Village and Coffeebar.
It’s been a few years since we’ve had access to this coffee, with supply chain disruptions and Lanna Coffee only able to bring in small quantities for the last few years. We excited to have the Law Wu Honey processed back, and couldn’t be happier with the quality this year.
Law Wu is a small village with 9 coffee farmers and 30 families in total, all belonging to the Lahu Tribe. They have been growing coffee for fifteen years and working with Lanna Coffee for the last eight years. This crop is a honey process which creates a lot of sweetness, without getting too funky/ vinegary like some natural process.
It is imported by Lanna Coffee Co., an importer based in Fresno who works exclusively in Thailand, providing economic empowerment for Thai communities whilst also providing funding for clean water projects in rural villages.
