Myin Dwin is a small but high-performing Danu-community in southern Shan State that switched from poppy growing to coffee decades ago. Their coffees are mostly Catuai, The community has used coffee profits to fund local infrastructure like roads, a well, a clinic, and even bikes for students, while also promoting women’s leadership in coffee.
