Guided Hikes – Galena falls trail

For the first hike of the season we’re starting with one of the quintessential Tahoe hikes, Galena Falls. Join National Forest Ambassador Paige Land as she takes you through the local fauna and floral, and some history of the area.

Coffeebar will provide free Trailhead coffee 15 mins before the hike.

This hike sees clear views of Lake Tahoe, and the Galena falls at the end. It’s a 4.9 mile out and back with roughly 530ft of elevation gain. This is a high elevation hike, starting at roughly 8900ft.

Please bring lots of water and suncream for this hike, and appropriate hiking shoes recommended.
