The Ritual started as a simple idea: what if our coffee, Dorinda’s chocolate, and Happy Mushroom Co.’s functional mushrooms could come together into something you could make anywhere, in seconds? The result is a smooth, cocoa-forward instant coffee built on our Washed Rwandan ~ deeply chocolatey, with a little something extra layered in.
We didn’t cut corners getting there. The mushroom blend uses 100% organic mushroom fruiting bodies, not mycelium grown on grain, which many mushroom coffee brands lean on as a cheaper substitute ~ that swap can mean more grain filler and fewer of the compounds you’re actually after. Ours are extracted using hot water and pressure, then freeze-dried to preserve what makes them worth including in the first place, and every batch is third-party tested to confirm there’s nothing in there that shouldn’t be.
Cocoa and functional mushrooms are both valued for their wellness benefits ~ we brought them together with the coffee we already love into one instant, ready-to-mix ritual.
