DESCRIPTION:For our September hike we’re heading to Ophir Creek\, via Davis Creek Regional Park\, where Forest Service’s Forest ambassador Paige Land will take you through the history of the land\, and the local flora and fauna on the trail. \nThis will be a 4.5mile hike with 1045ft elevation gain\, and is rated as moderate. \nPlease meet at the Lakeview Group picnic area\, located in Davis Creek Regional Park. \nThere may be some weather / rain lingering into Saturday\, so please come with appropriate footware and attire for the conditions. \nWe aim for a 3 hour hike\, and always recommend you pack lots of water and sunblock. \nThese hikes are sponsored by Coffeebar\, and will have free Trailhead Medium Roast coffee available 15 mins before each hike. \nPlease RSVP to secure your spot!
