BOH Prep Candidates for commissary bakery – Truckee, CA
MUST have secure housing and proper reliable transportation.
SHIFT – 5pm – 1am / PT= 3 days a week – FT = 32hours a week.
Looking for winter seasonal applicants – September – May preferred.
Starting at: $20-$28+/hour! **this includes $20hr Base Pay + Tips (we typically see an average of $6-$8/hour in tips!)
We’re looking for amazing folks to join our buzzin’ community cafe/bakery located on Donner Pass Rd. in Truckee! Members of our team provide friendly, efficient and hospitable service to each guest (learn names and favorite drinks for bonus points), prepare savory & baked items for local stores such as chicken, bacon and soups and all the yummy pastries. No experience? No sweat: we offer excellent cross-training and room for growth.

You have:
– High-volume, fast-paced food/beverage service experience
– Sense of humor, positive outlook and team-oriented attitude
– A dedication to creating impeccable customer experiences and being the force behind excellent hospitality
– Existing Food Handler’s Certification or certification within 30 days post-hire
– A demonstrated enthusiasm for coffee, baked goods, sustainability, farm-to-table food and/or a desire to learn
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to genuinely connect with a large and diverse group of coworkers and customers
– Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to stay cool and collected in a busy environment
– Flexible, open availability schedule
