Espresso Basics

This class is for people new to espresso, either the home user or new barista preparing for work in a cafe.

In this class Coffeebar’s Matt Brown will take you through the key variables of making espresso.

Including:

• Grinding and Grind Adjustment
• Puck prep and distribution
• Extraction and adjusting to taste
• Milk steaming and pouring
• Cleaning and Maintenance

Each student will have their own espresso machine and grinder. The class is a 50:50 split of theory and practice.
